State’s one-man track team placed second in the 60- yard dash and finished third in the broad jump. Jimmy Sykes and John Glenn finished in a tie for fifth place in the high jump. Saturday’s results: Basketball: Penn State defeat ed Army, 31 to 27, after trailing 20-12 at halftime. Boxuig: The Lions outpunched Army, 6 % to 1%. Captain Stanko dropped a decision to Peden, while Wade Mori won his initial boxing debut and Jim Lewis eked out a close decision in his first bout of the year.
