'Organized by 'Malcolm Weinstein, number 2 in Middle junior rankings, the team is not officially sponsored by the college, although, there may ibo a regular freshman team next year. Wire meets between other colleges will be carried out, not only in rifle, as was done this year, but also in swimming. Albright Will Replace Nemo In R.O.T.C. Unit Major Ralph C. G. Nemo, an as sociate professor of military' science and tactics here for the last four years, has been ordered transferred by' the War Department, effective at the end of the present academic year*. Major J. J. Albright, now a stu dent at the Command and General •Staff 'School at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, has received orders to report next September to replace Major Nemo. Nemo will pursue a course of study at the Chemical Warfare Serv ice 'School at Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland, after which he will report for duty at Los Angeles, California. Ebert States Traffic System Is Successful In a report from G. W. Ebert, su perintendent of grounds and build ings, the revised traffic system has proven successful. With continued cooperation from students, faculty, and townspeople, Ebert believes that accidents and hazardous traffic conditions will be avoided. He pointed out that a great number of students with cars have never applied for Penn State licenses. Regulation State stop signs -are to be installed at the intersection near the library and in front of the Agri culture building. Many complaints have been made that the present signs are too small to be noticed by drivers of vehicles. THE PENN STATE COLLEGIAN Schott Explains New System Of Tennis Court Reservation The new system of advance reservation of tennis courts, inaugurated by Dean Carl P. Schott of Physical Education’ and Athletics, guarantees a student the use of a tennis court at a specified hour if he will follow the regulations given below: Courts can be reserved during the week (by either telephoning or calling 'at the office of the Dean from *6 a. in. to noon, and from 1:30 p. m. -until 5 p. m. Saturdays, the hours arc from 8 a. m. until noon. If an in structor has' a reservation from the Dean covering a number of courts, or if a student has a reservation from an ‘instructor in physical education, the 16-minute rule will not be effec tive. ' 2.: Aside from classes, every Col lege student and instructor has equal claim to courts. 3. Reservations may be made only a day in advance and for only one hour.. 4. No'pers.on is required to give up a court except upon presentation of a written reservation signed toy Dean Schott or by an instructor in physical education.- 5. All reservations must end at the stroke of the hour as sounded toy Old Main. The next reservation will toe; effective at once., If the possessors of the court are in' the middle of a game, they may finish as long qs it doesn't require more than 16 minutes. 6.
