As part of the senior engineering lecture series, the skits will illustrate common mistakes in interviewing for positions,' and' they will emphasize the personal factors upon which most em ployers lay stress. So far only three forfeits have been recorded which indicates that the fraternity and non-fraternity groups are striving for better sports manship. Let's keep it up! The basketball teams which are competing in the round-robin system, have been divided alphabetically into the Blue - and the White. The former team includes Alpha Chi Omega, Chi Omega, Town East, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Philotes. The'White team is made up of A 0 Pi, Delta Gamma, Town West, Kappa Al pha Theta and Theta Phi Alpha. Three basketball gani6 were play ed off in Bee Hall Monday night. School Certifies 45 for Upper Division Forty-five; students have just been admitted into the upper division of the School of Education on the basis of examinations given recently. . This is the second group to be ad mitted to the upper division since it has been in existence. The group in cludes twenty from the lower divi sion, seven from the junior Colleges of Pennsylvania, six front the . under graduate teaching centers of Penn sylvania, five front the Pennsylvania teachers' colleges,.:threb front several colleges of the state, nna four front other schools on the campus. Three were refused admittance to the upper division for failure to meet the neces eary qualifications, and action was deferred on seven applicants who had not yet earned sufficient credits. Others in the lower division who plan to be admitted into the upper division before the next semester should make application during April. Phi Epsilon Pi and Beta Sigma Rho advanced to the finals of the volleyball tournament when they car ried elf honors in their respective groups. The Phi' Eps beat ATO two games to one, while Beta Sigma Rho won both games from Kappa Sigma. It is necessary for a team to lcse two matches to be eliminated from the competition. IE PENN STATE COLLEGIAN Higgins Lauds Houses' Aid to H. S. Students Appreciation of the cooperation given by fraternities in entertaining high school students last week-end was expressed today by Bob Higgins, football coach. Higgins also said that he was sure that the other varsity coaches echoed his appreciation. The Lion football couch referred to approXimately 200 high school ath letes who were guests of the College at the wrestling, boxing, and .basket ball contests Saturday. Broyles, acting head of the rural education department, there will be a strong demand for vocational agricultural teachers hi Pennsylvania. He said that about forty • more men will be able to be certified for the opening of schoid next fall. This year, the senior clas in agri , cultural education has fewer than a dozen members.
