Between The Lions With two such foreign football attractions as Penn and Pitt both on the card this year, many are wondering which will be chosen as the half holiday game. Some means should be provided for the students to determine which of these would he the most satisfactory. Expres sions of opinion might be left at Student Union or sent to this de partment, which would be willing to tabulate the results of the in formal balloting. It would be much too much to expect that two half holidays be granted, although the chances are that many will take in both games regardless of which game gets the holiday. Md. (by two touchdowns), Prince ton to beat Penn (the editor hold ing out for a tie), and Bucknell to beat Ursinus (by one or two touch downs). Tithe them for what they are worth. Lebanon Valley End Dean Sackett Attends Eligibility Conference A new regulation to permit certain freshman. in small colleges to parti cipate in intercollegiate athletics was considered at the meeting of the Penn sylvania Intercollegiate Athletic El igibility conference held in Harris burg recently. Dean Robert L. Sack ett, of the School of Engineering,. and president of the conference, was, in charge. The new regulation would allow those freshmen who have attended the institution during the preceding two quarters of a semester to compete as members of varsity teams. This would limit them to competition in .spring sports only. Freshmen in a number of small' Pennsylvania colleges now play on their varsity football and basketball teams. • The new regulation aims at eliminating this condition. „- The opIN - A, '^ll ' : DEN • - A NEW RESTAURANT RENDEZVOUS WITH COMPLETE:SOD S"g l itylcp GLENNLAND AI'TS.
