Serving in that capacity at many colleges throughout the country "fos ter fathers" have annually brighten ed the hearts of many homesick stu dents on the day set aside in honor of "Dad" even though their fathers were for some reason unable to attend. Now Penn State students, especially the recently-weaned freshmen, need not be obsessed with that "creped-up" feeling, while others are proudly and enthusiastically displaying their Alma Mater to loving parents. • Rotary and Kiwanis clubs gladly en dorsed the proposal at their meetings last week and will complete the nec essary arrangements, drawing up a list of the residents of State College who offer their services as "foster fathers" during the week. With two athletic meets, a smoker, and a Players' show scheduled, "foster fathers" will have no trouble in en tertaining their "sons for a day."
