Zil ligen '32 fall intramural athletic man ager. With fifty-seven teams participat ing in the football tournament and fifty-four in cross-country, more units !mere entered in these smuts this fall I than last year when intramural sports I were introduced here. Horseshoes, in which no tourney was held last year, attracted eighteen teams this I fall. Only S Fraternities Football led in number of individu als taking part, with 853 students en tered in cOmpetition. Cross-countiy, with 115 students competing, came second, and hoiseshoes, with 108 pa, Dements, followed Only six of the cross-country entrants failed to finish the mile-and-a-half course Of the 129 groups in fall tourneys, ten were non-fraternity organizations and the remainder fraternity With Davidson-Struble winning the intro muial horseshoe touinament, this is the first year for a non-fraternity group to gain first place in intramural competition.
