Tuesday, May 17, 1927 ELECTION OFFICIALS MAKE FINAL COUNT Mollenouer Will Be On' Student Council But Lewis Must Give Up Position SPECIAL BALLOT WILL SETTLE TIES THURSDAY After the compiling and publishing of the unofficial results of the class elections held Tuesday and Wednesday the Student Council committee com posed of R. B. Donaldson '27, C. P Lippincott' '27, and A. S Corny '27, recounted the ballot and announced the official tallies. Because of the change in curriculum made by W A. Stone, who was elected president of the Class of 1930, R F. Mollenouer will represent next year's sophomores in Student •Council as a member of the-School of Agriculture while S. H. Lewis who received the highest total in the Liberal Arts school will lose hie chair. Tin votes in the Schools of Engi neering and Mining will necessitate new balloting in Engineering A and Old Mining buildings Thursday from nine until twelve-thirty o'clock in the morning and from one to four-thirty o'clock us the morning and from one to four-thirty o'clock, in the aftei noon. In the Class of 1929, C. A Baumann, It It Cleland and S. H. Weaver re ceived the same number of votes for Student Council from the School of Engineering P. F Hauserman '2B and I. It. Heim '2B are tho candidates who caused an other ballot in the School of Mining A typographical erial in Filday's Collegian made it appear that F. M. Gager '2B was a Student Council rep resentative from the School of Edu cation whereas he is in the School of Engineering - Tho following is the list of nam• with the number of coma polled b each nominee This tabulation is o ficial and final. MAY 19 and 20 Sigma Epsilon To Get Triangle Charter Soon Installation of Penn State chapter of the Triangle, national engineering fraternity, will take place next year following the acceptance of Sigma Ep silon's petition to the national group Tho prompt acceptance of the petition was actuated by the high scholastic standing of the local group and the efforts of Dean Sackett, an honorary member of the Triangle. The Triangle is a national social engineering fraternity and was found ed in 1907 at the University of Illi nois. Installation of the Penn State chapter hill occur the second semes ter of next year.
