Monday, September 12, 1921 HEALTH service adds NEW ANNEX TO HOSPITAL One of ili'-- first things noticed by the returning .students and new men is the ruwiny sun*i»avlor annex to the Health Hervice Infermary. This annex is for the use of the convalescing pat ients to enable them to get out of the sick room, and it will be a decided improvement to the hospital. Dr. J. I’, ltitenour, the college phy sician, al.so announces the addition of a house-keeper and a clerk to the Health .Service staff. The work of the conege Health Ser vice is to prevent, as far as possible, the outbreak of any diseases among the student body, ami to care for those who are unfortunate enough to become HI. Every student Is entitled to a free examination at any time to correct physical or hygeiiical errors, as a por tion of the gymnasium fee is set aside for this service. The Dispensary is open about four hours daily and students in need of medical advice are urged to avail them selves of this service, especially for wlrnt seems only a slight. illness or trivial injury, us the object for which the Service was established (preventa tive mcdicinej can best be served at that time. The infirmary and the Dispensary are located in the orchard near the Liberal Arts Building. ALUMNI FORMULATE PLANS FOR WINTER Penn Stale’s Alumni Associations are at the present time planning head quarters for the Alumni who attend the games played by the football team away from home. The Boston Alumni Association is planning a smoker and dinner, to bo held at soinu centrally located hotel, at the time of the Harvard game. Members of the Alumni who atend the Georgia Tech game wilt find their headquarters located at the Hotel Mc- Alpin in New York. There will be a smoker on Friday evening, Oct, 28, and a dinner on Saturday evening. At the time of the Navy game thero will be an Alumni smoker in the Belle vue-Htratford on Friday evening Nov. 12, and a dinner on Saturday evening There will be the usual smoker at the Fort Pitt hotel at the time of the I*lll game. The Alumni Association of New Hav en, Conn., will hold their fall meeting: on Oct. 7. W. G.
