Ten members of the Penn State Glee Club mat in the Auditorium last Wednesday evening to discuss poesibil tiles for the coming year. As only one of the officers was present,J. 11. Curl 'lt Tentative dates have been scheduled for the Glee Club during the Chrixtman vacation at Johnetown, during the con: ventlon of the State Teachers Aseocia tion, Latrobe, Altoono. and Greensburg. A bid hnx also been rent in for the Santo Fe trip, but as yet no definite In formation is obtainable. It le the opinion of the president of the Inter collegiate Glee Club Association that there will be no contest this year. Efforts will be made to start a quar tette composed of members of the Sophomore close, as all the members of the old quartette are engaged In various branch°s of military service The Mandolin Club is not badly af fected by the wartime conditions with ton members back and prospects are bright for a succeeeful year.
