Dr Fletcher graduated from the Massachusetts Agricultural College in 1595. Graduate work for the next three learn at Cornell unitersity, earned him the degrees of master of science and doctor of philosophy. After leaving Wnehington he was for two years assistant professor of extension teaching at Cornell university.
