PENN STATE DEBATERS MEET WESTMINSTER Second Debate of Series on Monroe Doctrine Next Friday Night, Suppoit of Students Needed The moral support of the student body is'necessary to insure the suc cess of any college activity. This is especially true with debating and for this reason there should be a large attendance at the intercol legiate debate between Westminster and Penn State, which takes place in the Auditorium, on Friday even ing. During the past few years we have met with ." «cincj success in this activity rnd it rests with the students to make debating success ful this year. The subject for the debate will be the Monroe Doctrine and the negative side will be upheld by Geary, McCord and Kenney for Penn State. The visiting team should present a strong opposition, as it will be remembered that we were defeated by Westminster, at New Wilmington, last year. This college, although small, has per haps one of the strongest debating teams in the state. As Westminster is chiefly a school of Liberal Arts the students devote much of their time to this activity. There is a 1916 numeral sweater at the physical director’s office.
