THE PENN STATE COLLEGIAN New Experimental Plant Officials of the Pennsylvania State College have been notified In the secretary of the United Slates Department of Agriculture that an experimental plant to de termine the causes and clTcets of explosions of dust in grist mills in co-operation with the engin ed ing experiment station and the department of mechanical engin- eering. It will be the first large experiment of this kind ever at tempted. Construction of the plant is to begin immediately, and when complete it will he fully equipped with milling machinery. Professor J. A. Mojcr. will bate charge of the experiment, ii. \V. Hedrick, instructor in flour milling, will operate the plant, and M.
