Strongest Prep School Teams to be Met Next Year—Varsity Schedule Complete. The renewal of ipotball rela tions with the Unit ersitt ol Penn sylvania is the must striking change which appears m tin list of football games just announced for the 1915 se.i-.mi The I'emi athletic authorities nulled l’cnn .State to a renewal of the game under conditions which git e promise of a pleasant Inline rela tionship. The Jlartard game scheduled for the third successive tear is another prominent feature of the schedule as is the usual Thanks giving game with I’itt. Lehigh affords a big home atliaction on Pennsylvania day. and Lafayette is again met at Easton under the contract negotiated last _t ear, which brings that team to Heater field for the Pcnnsv It tuna day game in 1919 In addition to Le high four other stiong home games are provided; \\ estminster college and Gettysburg again ap pear on Beaver field, while Leba non Valley college, and V est Wesleyan are new comers on the schedule. This list of opponents provides one of the stiongest schedules in I’enn State's football history. One of the keenest i egrets is the inability to repeat the Michi gan Agricultural college game in 1915. The renewal of the Penn game made it impossible to incept Michigan’s invitation tor a game at East Lansing, and by reason of the previously scheduled game with Lehigh for Peinisvlvania day the only possible date foi a game at State College was not available. The “Aggies” by their clean, hard football of last fall won a place in the hearts of Penn State undergraduates, and it is hoped that this game can be re newed in tile near future. The list of contests foi the 1915 season is exceedingly well balanc ed, the sequence of games being such as to provide ample pciiods of rest between the majoi games and to allow for the gradual de velopment of the team. The dis tribution of the games is also most advantageous; the I larvald game giving competition in New England, and also with one of the Big Three; Penn and Pitt. Lafay ette and Lehigh games touch the principal centers of Pennsylvania and afford a large percentage of the Penn State alumni an oppor tunity to witness the team in ac tion. Til view of t 1 — -cmnrcheusive system of freshman development to be followed out under the one year rule, the schedule of games for the first year men has been materially strengthened. Efforts to schedule at least one game with the freshman team ol a lead ing college arc at this time un availing. The prospects in this connection are f.ivoiable foi suc ceeding seasons.
