Mr. Kel sey, as an architect, designed the $1,000,000 Pan-American Building at Washington D. C., and among other things the Presbyterian church at State College. The lecture will be given before the combined engineering societies. The subject will be especially in teresting to those taking Architec ture and Landscape Gardening. Sigma Pi Installation. On Saturday Oct. 26, 1912, the Corinthian Club will be duly install ed as the “Theta" Chapter of the Sigma Pi National Fraternity. The installation will be conducted by the Chief Executive, Mr. Blower of Athens, Ohio, assisted by L. L. Moore of Phila. and Professors Palmer and Cox of Penn. State Col lege. The installation will be fol lowed by a reception. Junior Pictures, In order that pictures of the members of the junior class can be inserted in the La Vie, all members of the class must appear for sittings at scheduled times. The gallery is in the balcony of the Armory Those scheduled for afternoon sit tings will be excused from classes long enough to have the sittings taken. Consult the schedule for your appointments. General Beaver at Atlantic City. General Beaver is spending a few weeks at Atlantic City. The whole student body hopes for the speedy recovery of this friend of Penn State. WE WONDER. How many freshmen did not. sup! port their football team last Satur day. If everyone appreciates the use of the Auditorium for football returns. If the freshmen will see that they have more men in the cider scrap than in the push ball contest. If only seniors use the senior benches. If men who take football trips realize that on their behavior the standard of the college is judged. Two Class Banquets. The class banquets of the junior and sophomore classes will be held at Philadelphia during the Penn trip. All men leaving for the game are excused from all classes Friday and Saturday. Owing to the fact that the nexc month will be broken up by the Penn and Pitt trips, elec tion day, and Pennsylvania Day, it is of vital importance to attend all classes previous to and after all vacations. On Sunday evening, October 27, at 7:30 p. m., the choir of the First Presbyterian church, composed chiefly of students and faculty members, will give a special musi cal service at the church under the directions of Prof. C.
