Probably the most difficult role of the cast was that of “Professor Walter Stem” which was enacted by F. C. Dose in a faultless manner. Mr. Dose filled his part so well and exhibited his many abilities in so skilled a manner that he never failed to please the audience. The other members of the cast left nothing undone in contributing their share to the show. "Fritz von Brunnen” taken by C. R. Gerth; A. J. Helfrecht as ‘‘Ein Lohn diener;” Elsie H. Ernst as “Ein Dienstmadchen;" Prof. Fehr “Ein Herr;” Mrs. Fehr as “Seine Frau” and Katheryn Etters and Martha Davey as “Ihre zwei Tochter” com pleted the cast. Post Festum was a success es pecially when it is considered that there are more difficulties encoun tered in the production of an inter esting German play than in any other.
