back on the All-Star eleven ft om
Pennsylvania colleges. In all-around
ability we not only consider him the
best among college elevens, but one
of the best of the year found in the
whole country. Mauthe is a great
punter. In this art he more than
held his own with every man he
measured kicks with this year. He
was one of the best men this yea'
in secondary defense." e
Mauthe is also a good basketball
player. In the interclass basketball
league Lester was always a hard
man to stop when he started down
the floor with the ball. This year
he is playing varsity basketball.
All honor is due Captain D. W.
Very and let us all hail the new
leader of 1912, Captain J. L.
Mauthe. .
