STATE-PITT HISTORY Pitt took place and State's sons journeyed to Pittsburg undefeated under their beloved "Lary' Vorhis; while Pitt under Captain Homer Roe was in top-notch form. 'Ere the whistle's echo had long ceased, that eupeib backfield quintet , of the Blue and White-,---"Larry" Vorhis, "Bull" IvVbCleary, Lester Mauthe, "Heff" Hirshman and "Dutch" Hermann—had swung into uncon querable motion. It was their last game for alma mater and Pittsburg ers had never seen such a football machine in action—more courage ous, more powerful and more sports- I man-like. ' Rules for Ticket Sale The State Alumni request that the following regulations for tickets for the State—Pitt game at Pittsburg on November 24, 1910 he strictly observed: 1. 'Tickets will be sold by mail .ortleFmtily. 2. 'Sale operis Tuesday, Nov. 15, Closes Tuesday, Nov. 22. '3. Use the attached order form, fill every blank,'and comply strictly with its tertns. 4. ' The rules of sale must be strictly adhered to or orders will not be filled. • 5. ' State whether you prefer bal cony or main floor, grand stand or,roof, balcony or main floor box es. 'Your preference will be con sidered while the seats last. 6. Prices: Box , seats, $2OO each ,(hoxes",seat 8 persons). All grand stand seats, $1.50 each. Call for Candidates for Wrestling. Coach Leivis will hold wrestling practice every Tuesday and Friday evenings at seven o'clock for new candidates. He will have last year's team' out on the mat tb get new material in shape and these old men will spend these nights in in structing the new men. The squad will not be cut down' for some time and all new men will be given time to get in condition before being tried out. , Every man who has wrestled, or thinks he can or would like to learn to wrestle is urged to ti y for this team for he will not only be doing some thing for his college but he will also be doing a great deal toward physically developing himself. In this list the names are ar ranged alphabetically according to counties and classes, and the home address of each student is given. Students and members of the faculty may consult this list at any time by calling at the registrar's office. . Officers of the various county and city clubs will find the list especially valuable in helping them complete their membership. Comparative Growth. The following shows the com parative growth of the Pennsyl vania State college by classes, November 1909 compared with November, 1910. This table how ever, does not contain the short course students. 1909: seniors, 149; juniors, 267; sophomores,347; freshmen,43s; spe cials, 18; two-year agriculturists, 74. total, 1288. 1910 seniors, 201; jun iors, 274; sophomores,3s4; freshmen, 484; specials, 27; two-year agricul turists, 112; total, 1452.
