March 21 ot 22,, Just before the
Easter v,a-ation begins The troupe
will then disband to Tssemble in
Bloomsburg on the evening of March
29. It is not yet positively known
just what route will be tollowed, but
Manager Pollock has several places
on the string, among which may be
mentioned Sunbury. Johnstown,
Wilkes-Barre. Clearfield, Bellefonte,
and several 'others: The trip will
probably wind up in Bellefonte
Saturday evening, the 2nd of April.
The - School of Mines- and Metallurgy
As a.. part of the extension work
which is being conducted by the
School 6f Mines and Metallurgy in
cooperation with the Y. M. C. A.
Mining Institutes, Dean Crane has
dUring the month delivered lectures
in Litrobe, Castle Shannon, Irwin,
Johnstown, Brownsville, Mononga
hela City, Scottilale and Punxsu

A small concentrating plant has
been installed in the Ore Dressing
Laboratories. It consists of a set
of jigs a number of different types
of hydraulic classifiers, a Wilfley
table, and an automatic ore feeder.
The whole l plant is motor driven,
and adds greatly to the range of work
that may be done in or concentra
tion in the laboratories.
The School has recently received
two large shipments of ores for use'
in lthe laboratory work, one being a
lead ore consisting of Galena in cal
cue,
and containing a small amount
of blende, donated by the Canada
Smelting Co. fro:n their Old-Fronte
ac mine near Kingston Ontario, and
the other a carload of gold-bearing
