The - School of Mines- and Metallurgy As a.. part of the extension work which is being conducted by the School 6f Mines and Metallurgy in cooperation with the Y. M. C. A. Mining Institutes, Dean Crane has dUring the month delivered lectures in Litrobe, Castle Shannon, Irwin, Johnstown, Brownsville, Mononga hela City, Scottilale and Punxsu taWney% A small concentrating plant has been installed in the Ore Dressing Laboratories. It consists of a set of jigs a number of different types of hydraulic classifiers, a Wilfley table, and an automatic ore feeder. The whole l plant is motor driven, and adds greatly to the range of work that may be done in or concentra tion in the laboratories.
