Mr. Drewitt, who will play Shylock in the "Merchant of Venice" and Macduff in "Macbeth" is famous both in this country and in England as an interpreter of Shakespearean roles. It was he who made famous the character of Death in "Everyman" when Mr. Greet first presented it in this country five years ago. Mr. Shepherd. a promi nent Shakespearean star in England for several years, is with Mr. Greet for the third season. Last season, however, he was with Harrison Gray Fiske in "Monna Vanna." Miss Kieth Wakeman, acting the parts of Portia and Lady Macbeth, was formerly leading lady in E. S. Wil lard's company and at one time a a member of Edwin Booth's com pany. Season before last she was leading lady with Otis Skinner in "The Duel," and two seasons ago for several weeks leading lady with the Majestic Stock Company. Frank McEntree, who plays Banquo and Antonio, is an actor of great ability and has been a prominent member of Mr. Greet's company for more than six years.
