All college exercises will be sus pended for Friday, November 20, in view of the celebration of Penn syliania Day. From present pros pects there will be a large attendance of members of the General As sembly of the state. Governor Stuart,' who was at the celebration last year, finds it impossible to be present this year, but Lieutenant- Governdr Murphy is expected. The guest's from the western part of the state will reach the college, by a special - parlor' car, on 'Thursday afternOon about 3:20 o'clock. They will be met by a cbitimittee — on wel come; and will be conducted on a tour of inspection, going to the engi neering building, the , engineering annex, the irlining bitilding; the chemistry building:- and thence to the - agikultural biiilding. Plans have been made to give a smoker to the guests - in - the' engineering club room in the evening, and entertain ment will be fuiiiis'lieT by a number of the students, including the col lege quartette. The forenoon exercises will be held in the Auditorium be ginning at 10:30. The house will be turned over to the public to take seats at will. Music will be fur- nished by the college orchestra, the choir and the quartette. Among the speakers will be Judge Harry A. Hall, of Ridgway, Pennsylvania, William W. Atrerbury, General Manager of the Pennsylvania Rail road company, Ex Senator Rey burn. Mayor of Philadelphia, and others. The exercises will close at noon. Luncheon will be served to the guests at McAllister Hall. At 1:30 p. m. the regiment of cadets will be inspected by Major General John A. Wiley, who is in command of the state troops of Pennsylvania. Gen. Wiley will be accompanied by his aide, Col. Samuel Jefferies, Immediately aft er the dismissal of the parade, the annual footoall game bet Ween the freshman and sophomore classes will be played. Classes in Mission Study Organized The Christian Association has just taken up the organization of mission study classes, and the aim will be to enroll two hundred men in these classes this year.
