Ritchey, 'OB, received an ap pointment in the Philippine civil service, and left in September to take up his new work. C. W. Rogers 'O3 has removed to Fairbanks, Alaska, and writes that he is likely to remain at this address for some time. T. W. Mason 'OB is instructor in chemistry at the Michigan Agri cultural college, E. The Senior Council at Syracuse University has taken action forbid ding all undergraduates to attend any intercollegiate contest in com pany with a woman. The reason is tnat the practice proves detrimental to college spirit. President Eliot has resigned his position as head of Harvard Uni versity after over thirty years of service, He is hale and hearty at seventy-five, but says he wishes to retire before people can say he has served beyond his usefulness.
