COLLEGE NOTES. In the list of class officers recent ly published, the name of D. C. , Minick should have been given as secretary of the freshman class. Manager Lindemuth has the basketball schedule nearly completed and it will probably be announced ,within a few days. The college has just issued a four page circular on the twelve-weeks' course in home economics and dairy ing, which begins Jan. 7. J. C. Gotwals, 'O6, visited the college last week. He has been en gaged for some time in work for the state highway department of New York. L B. Grindlay, 'O2, was married on Oct. 7 in Youngstown. Ohio, to Miss Mary E. - Flapper. They will reside at 44 Martin St., West Ha ven, Conn. The season tickets for the Y. M. C. A._entertainment course are still on sale and may be purchased 'at any time before Nov. 21, the date of the first entertainment. A party of surveyors has been quartered at the Inn in the village during the past week; they are a few of a large number: engaged in locat ing what is understood to be an air line between Pittsburg and New York. If t route is completed, it will cross t e Bald Eagle moun tains to Port Matilda and strike the Tussey Mountains below Pine Grove Mills, and will continue running along the mountains above Boals burg and will continue east through the Buffalo valley. If this route should ever be completed, it will give the college the desired outlet both east and west. R. G.
