    Sophomore Basketball League.
The sophomore league closed its
season Saturday night with the de
feat of the electricals by the civils,
and the forfeiture of the chemists to
the mechanicals.
The league has developed a num
ber of good players who will now
turn out for class team practice and
help develop a winning team.
As was foreseen, when the miners
defeated the mechanicals and farm
ers, they won the championship of
the league. They played good con
sistent bail and won on merit.
There is still one postponed game
to be played, that between the
mechanicals and civils. It is to de
cide the tie for third place in the
league. As practice by the class
teams will be in order every night
in the week, the date is doubtful
