Sophomore Basketball League. The sophomore league closed its season Saturday night with the de feat of the electricals by the civils, and the forfeiture of the chemists to the mechanicals. The league has developed a num ber of good players who will now turn out for class team practice and help develop a winning team. As was foreseen, when the miners defeated the mechanicals and farm ers, they won the championship of the league. They played good con sistent bail and won on merit. There is still one postponed game to be played, that between the mechanicals and civils. It is to de cide the tie for third place in the league.
