Pro fessor Egbert's position as Instruc tor in the department of Mechanics and Materials of Constructon greatly relieves the overcrowded condition which has existed there since the opening of the term. In Honor of Prof. Reber Prof. and Mrs. Reber were very pleasantly entertained at a dance given in their honor last Wednesday evening by•the junior and senior en gineers. The affair was a great success and was attended by nearly two hundred and fifty people. The college orchestra numbering ten pieces furnished excellent music. On Friday evening in McAllister Hall, the faculty of the engineering department held a banquet as a fare well to Prof. Reber. Prof. and Mrs. Jackson delight fully entertained a large number of guests last Saturday at an afternoon tea from 4to 6 o'clock. Over four hundred invitations were issued. Track Prospects. As there is plenty of good track material among the new men, the outlook for next spring is very promising. . Meets will be held with Annapolis, Lafayette, Carlisle Indians, Dickinson, and probably Syracuse and W. U. P. A relay team will be entered in the proposed Pennsylvania inter collegiate meet to be held at Harris burg.
