Clerk of the coursi,'X. S. Stevenson. The Interclass - Relay. In spite of the heavy rain of al most a day, the inter-class relay race was held on Saturday of last week. The track was bad and the weather cold, but owing to the lateness of the season it was impossible to postpone the race. The Juniors did not enter a team and consequently the struggle was between three classes only. The Seniors came first, Sophomores se cond, and Freshmen third. Wallace, Martin, Berkebile and Hay ran for the Freshmen in the or der named. For the Sophomores, Mobley, Yeckley, Digby and Bedale ran ; while for the Seniors there were Stapler, Gregg, Long and Henry in the order named: 1907 maintained first place in all except the second lap where Yeckley won out over Gregg. "The Main Uhance."... . Schremser Announcement. of Judge's Decision The Battalion Inspection. The government inspection of the military department which occurred May 31 had several novel features. One of these was a special cere mony for receiving two new flags. One of these was the college stand ard, presented by the senior class, and the other the national colors, purchased by the college. The en tire morning was Gevoted to the us ual drills and inspection, but in the afternoon the battalion was divided, four companies under Captain Wilson being assigned to attack a position occupied by two companies under Captain Groff. The inspector, Captain Penn, was well pleased with the work of the battalion and the band. The' latter received special mention in his re port. Class Day Exercises. The annual class day exercises of the graduating class will be held on the front campus at 2 o'clock Mon day afternoon. After a seleqion by the band, William Wray will de liver the President's farewell address. The presentation of Dr. Atherton's library to the college will be made by W. A. Slater. The Pipe Ora tion will be delivered by H. D. Mason and P. P. Reece will present the members of the class with char acteristic tokens, The exercises are brought to a close by singing "Alma Mater." Junior Assembly. The closing event of the Com mencement season will be the an nual assembly given to the graduat ing class by the Juniors next Wed nesday evening in the Armory. Music will be furnished by the Oppenheim orchestra,while Vollmer has charge of the decorations. The catering will be in the hands of W. T. Dunn. There is a long list of patronesses and the dance promises to be a brilliant occasion; . _
