The Debating Club. Last Saturday the question dis cussed at the debating club was: Resolved, That all corporations, in cluding life insurance companies, doing an inter-state business, should be licensed, supervised and regulated by the federal government. After the regular debate a general dis cussion ensued and it is probable that this question will be chosen for the intercollegiate contest with Dickin son. Another question will be con sidered next Saturday night and a final choice made between the two. The trials for positions on the college team will be held in about two or three weeks. A committee was appointed to meet the presidents of the various classes and arrange for the interclass debates. Get Your Voices in Trim. Tomorrow night, our basketball team plays Swarthmore in the Armory. Let every man in college turn out, determined that State shall be victorious, and we will win in good, square, gritty fashion. Our basketball team has struck a streak of hard luck, and it is up to every State man to jump in and give the players new courage by showing that we’re srill with them.
