COLLEGE ORBIT. Andrew L. Smith, State ex-'OS,and star full-back of 1904 at the Uni versity of_ Pennsylvania, has been elected to coach the football team of the Frankford Athletic Associa tion. Dickinson has already begun to make preparations for the State game on Nov. 17. The Carlisle in stitution considers this game the most important one on the schedule. The Pennsylvania athletic com mittee has added a new rule to the code, barring any athlete who is two weeks in arrears for his board at the training table.—Ex. The Electrical Society At the regular meeting of the Electrical Engineering Society held Wednesday, Oct. 31, D. R. Simp sbn read an interesting at tide about a new devicr for throwing a switch on a track from the car, and W. A. Fallon presented a paper on control of alternators. A committee on constitution and by-laws was ap pointed to draw up the rules and regulations of the society, which heretofore have never been written, and present them for adoption. The society has decided to take the Electrical inspection trip the first week in the second semester. This kicklet is directed against that thoughtless student who is con tinually taking clippings from the magazines in the Library. This is a pernicious habit and should be stopped at once.
