A meeting of the Harrisburg Club was held in Room No. 15 Engineer ing Building on Wednesday evening, Oct. 24th. with President G. W. Groff presiding. It was decided to hold a banquet at the Lochiel Hotel Building during the Christmas vacation,at which the Alumni and any prospective students from Harrisburg and vicinity should be invited. - The date will be de cided upon later. The college year book, The La Vie was ordered placed in the Har risburg and Steelton High Schools, The Y.M.C.A. and the Engineers' Club. There are about 52 members, and the object of the organization is to advance the interests of State Col lege at Harrisburg and vicinity, and at the same time to boom Harrisburg at State College. Fish of Pennsylvania. At the regular meeting of the Natural History Club held Wednes day, October 24, Prof. W. R. Mc- Connell _gave a very interesting talk on the fish of Pennsylvania. Dur ing the summer of 1905 Prof. Mc- Connell made a study of the fish of the state for the State Fish Com mission, and he discovered many of the finny tribe that were not form erly known to live in Pennsylvania. According to his classification, there are 165 species in Pennsylvania, be longing to 29 different families.
