McCleary gained 3, Coulson 5, Hirshman 2, Gatwals 3, Maxwell, 1 and McCleary punted 45 yards, the ball rolling out of bounds. On the first line-up for Gettysburg a fumble occurred, and Hirshman fell on the ball. Hirshman hit the line for 5. and Coulson for 2 more. but Henry was downed without gain on a long pass, the ball going to Gettysburg. Swartz made 2 yards and Sieber punted 50, Henry sprinting back 25; then Coulson rounded the end for 15, and McCleary clipped off 5 at the other extremity. Hirshman 5 through a . big hole opened by Kunkle, then 2 more, and State was penalized 10 yards for holding. Coulson got 8 around end, and - Hirshman 5 through a fine opening made by Cyphers; McClearY's drop kick from the 35 yard line was blocked, but Henry fell on the ball. McCleary then punted 40, and Sieber punted back 50 yards. The remainder of the half was a punting duel with neither side getting within striking distance of a score. The second half, however, proved more exciting. SECOND HALF The Gettysburg team came un the field without a change in their line-up, and only one substitution was made on State's team, Vorhis for Henry. Siebei kicked-off to State's one yard line, McCleary ploughing back for 15 yards. Then came a fumble, but Cyphers recovered the ball. The Gettysburgers could not gain and Sieber punted 35 from close formation, McCleary catching. axwell gained 3, McCleary 5, -lirshman 2, Coulson 2, and Mc- Cleary punted 45, Gotwals tackling Sieber fiercely.
