ALUMNI Simon E. Miller, 'O3, 102 State street, was married to Miss Alice Bender, of Strasburg, Lancaster county, on Wednesday evening of this week. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride. Mr. Miller is -a Lancaster countian and was graduated from State Col lege a few years ago. He is em ployed in the office of the Bridge and Construction department of the Pennsylvania Steel Company. Mr. and Mrs. Miller will reside in Harris city. Stitt 'O3 is just recovering from a severe sickness caused by an ulcer on the stomach. He was , operated on, and is doing very well. The Reserves Defeated On Tuesday May 22 the reserve baseball team was easily defeated by " Joe Shed's sluggers. " It was all up with the reserves from the start. They could not place Slipmp's curves. and their two pitchers could not mystify Joe's freshmen pro tegees. The game was as interesting as any that have been played on Beaver Field this year.
