Dr. Wadsworth Entertains the Senior Miners Last Friday night Dr. Wads worth gathered together his students in the Senior class and entertained them with an informal banquet at his residence. Every "Miner" present did full justice to the elaborate menu—in fact, several dis tinguished themselves. The menu cards were blue prints of - a very neat and appropriate design. After the tables had been cleared and the men had lit their cigars, toast master A. M. Clay called for the following toasts.—"l9o6 and Fac ulty During the Strike," G. J. R. _McGee ; "Blooming 1906 Miners," R. M. Caswell ; "Oars and Mettles," C. P. Linville ; "Random Thoughts," R. P. Farrington ; "Fossils," L. B. Smith; "Past, Present and Future," Dr. Wads worth. Each toast was well re ceived. Dr. Wadsworth was the life of the evening, and his faculty of entertaining was at its best. Natural History Club Banquet. The Natural History Club de cided last Friday evening to substi tute food for the inner man instead of the deep scientific re search which forms the usual order of proceed ings at their meetings. The feed was held at the track house. "Bill" Slater 'O7, the toastmaster, called upon a number of those present for extemporaneous "spouts," when the edibles had been dispensed with.
