Thespians, Saturday Night. Next Saturday evening, April 21, the Thespians will present in the Auditorium, their farce comedy in three acts, "Facing the Music." This play has won international repute by a one year's run in Druray Lane Thea tre, London. The boys, under the able trainership of Mrs. J. Hurley, of Buffalo, have been practicing faith fully for the last three weeks, there being two long rehersals each day. Those who have been present at any of the rehersals remark that this play is unusually well suited for such an or ganization as the Thespians. In ad 11 , on, the musical part cf the program will be furnished by the col lege orchestra which has been putting in much time of late at practicing. The college quartette will render several selections between the acts. The perf-or>ance will start at a quarter after eight. The Compilers, Miss Atherton and Mr. Wycoff merit the thanks of the Library for a copy of The Pennsyl vania State Song Book. The Illuminating Engineer, a new magazine devoted to the Science and Art of Illumination is on file in the Library. It is a bright, well-illustrated monthly, and comes as a gift from the Publisher. The two dailies in French and Ger man are now regularly , filed in the Library, the Courier chs Etats Unis and the Staats Zeibung. These furnish an excellent practicum in rapid reading for students of these two modern languages, and a wholesome practice for all to keep alive a reading knowledge of the every day vocabulary. Professor John F. Shields, of- the class of 1892 and an Instructor in Mathematics at State for a year or more, has donated throug'l Professor Willard, thirty-two volumes cf Math ematical Texts. A large number of students attended church in Bellefonte on Easter. Duff, 'O5, was at the College for a short visit this week.
