SECOND HALF, Wray went in for McWilliams, Leonard for Wray, and Moorhead for Henry, West Virginia’s line-up remaining the same. Mc.Cue kicked off to State’s 10 yard line, Zink running back 25 in grand shape. Yeckley then made 6at end, Wray 6, Gotwals 2 and then 1, and Moorhead made no gain at McCue’s position. Miller punted 50 yards and McDonald returned 40, Miller running back hard for 20. Wray made 2 yards, and 5 yards was given to State for an ‘ 'offside. ’’ With the ball on West Virginia’s 25 yard line, Wray secured 4, then 2, then 7 more, Zink 5, Zink 1, Wray 2, and Wray slipped in the mud on the next plunge, and it was West Virginia’s ball ori their 8 yard line. McDonald punted 30, Moorhead getting 5 back. Miller then made 2, Moorhead lost 1 at end, and • Miller fell back for a drop kick but the pass was high, and it was Captain Martin’s ball on his 35 yard line. Here Mcliveen went in for Miller. Ernst made no gain at center, Mart in made 3, then 2, Hinman 1, and then on a delayed pass Campbell threw McCue for two yards loss. THE STATE COLLEGIAN Martin punted 35, and on the next play Mcliveen kicked back a fast low one, the oval rolling 55 yards. Ernst plunged 2 yards, Martin lost 1, and McDonald punted 25 yards out of bounds. With the ball on West Virginia’s'so yard .line, Penn State began to do business. The Fall Dances Last Thursday the Terpsichorean Club held a very successful dance in McAllister Hall. The music was of an exceptionally high order and was furnished by Oppenheim’s orchestra of nine pieces, from Wilkes-Barre. Seventy couples participated in the dances which were twenty-four in number with two extras. Housel acted as caterer. On the same evening the Beta Theta Pi and the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternities held dances in their respective chapter houses. On Friday the annual Thanksgiv ing Hop took place in the Armory. Over one hundred couples partici pated. Oppenheim again furnished high class music, the program con sisting of twenty-four dances with six extras. Harrison acted in the capacitv of caterer.
