But two days more, fellows, and we’re off to Williamsport, every State man of us, with the “White and Blue” 'waving high and our voices in splendid trim. .“The Team! The Team ! The Team!!” All hail to our valiant Varsity, and may each man remember Old State as he goes out ‘upon the gridiron Saturday, and display that spirit which has made State’s name so glorious in years gone by. Each past season at Williamsport has seen Old State’s elevens play such hard, gritty, manly football, as to make our teams the admiration of the Lumber City. And this Satur day must witness another fair and clean-cut victory for the White and Blue. The 1907 Championship, The struggle for championship honors in the Junior Football League has become extremely interesting, as the Miners downed the Electricals last Saturday 10 to 5, thus tieing the Mechanicals tor first place. A game between these two teams will now decide the championship. The Collegian will soon select the ’O7 All-American team, so get busy boys, and play the game! The weekly meeting of the Debat ing club was held in room 367 on Saturday evening last, and among other matters the question was dis cussed as to the best way of raising the money for the expenses of the debate with Swarthmore which will be held here on December 14th. It was finally decided that the Faculty should be asked to contribute one fifth, and that each of the four classes be asked to pay a like sum. No admission will be charged if this plan is successful.
