Dillon 1 yard, Bowen 3, Bowen 2, and Mount Pleasant punted 45, Moorhead com ing back 15, but fumbled, and it was Carlisle’s ball in the middle of the field. Barr nipped Dillon for a loss, just as the whistle blew. SECOND HALF. McGee kicked off to Archi, who dodged back for 15 yards, and then ran 10 more around the end. Leath ers -nabbed Lubo for 4 yards loss, and Dillon made 2 at tackle. Mt. Pleasant kicked 45 yards and Moor head slid back 3, and added the distance around left end, after which 5 yards was given State for offside, and Dubois was laid out for time. Yeck hit tackle for 2, McGee cen tre 1, and Yeck was hurt. McGee then punted 35 and Mt. Pleasant ran back 10, Leathers downing him hard. Albanez 3 around end, Jude 4, Arch. 10, Exendine 3 and Al banez 5, the last two gains on fake plays. Then Albanez skirted the end on a beatiful 25 yard run and Dillon got 2 through the line. With the ball on State’s 30 yard mark, Archi lost ground on a double pass, and the quarter-back kick was re sorted to again: But Moorhead fell on the ballon State’s 12 yard line, McGee punted 20, and Archi came back only 2. Dubois 1 off tackle, Bowen 2, Exendine 3, Archi 6, Al banez 1, Dillon 3, and State’s 8 yard line is now reached. Bowen 2 at guard and lays out awhile on Mc- Gee’s fierce tackle. But Dillon added 2 and Albanez made it first down. Then Bowen ploughed over for the second score and Dillon kicked the goal. —11 to 0. Yeck lost 2 at end, McGee got 1 at centre, and Miller dropped back to the 45 yard line to try for a goal from field. The kick went true but fell many yards short, and Mt. Pleasant caught and punted back 45, catching State un awares, Moorhead getting back 5 yards. Then Cal went around Jude for 20 yards, but fumbled on a vic ious tackle, and it was Carlisle’s ball again. Jude prodded a yard, Dillon nipped 3, and Mt, Pleasant punted 55, the oval sailing away over Moor head’s head, and he was fortunate to get back for 5 yards. Here 10 yards was allowed Carlisle for “holding,” and McGee punted 35, Leathers and Gotwals tackling Mt. Pleasant in his tracks. Then Ex endine swatted 3 at centre, Little Boy leaped for 1, Dubois 2, and the quarter-back kick worked again, but the umpire gave State the ball after an argument. McGee punted 40, and Mt. Pleasant got back 5 when Barr brought him down hard. Exendine dug out 2 yards, Dillon 3, Charles 8, Roy 2, but Roy failed at centre, and Charles got but 2 at tackle, so Mt. Pleasant punted 45, and Moorhead dropped the ball, Barr recovering.
