Y. and brought it to a high standard. He has also taught advanced engineering subjects the last few years in the summer school at Lehigh University. Mr. M. B. Benedict, M. E. In structor in Mechanical Engineering took his degree at Lehigh Universi ty in 1899. He was an apprentice for two years following his gradua tion with the Pennsylvania Railroad at the Altoona shops. He went from there to the employ of the Carnegie Steel Company in the draughting room, where he remained until 1904. Last year he spent at the Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, Va., instructing Engineering subjects. Mr. Benedict also comes higly re commended. Notice The College Orchestra will hold a “stag” dance in the Armory next Saturday evening from 8:15 to 11 o’clock. The Sophomore class has voluntarily promised not to disturb Freshmen attending the dance and it is hoped that a large number of the new men will turn out.
