Promptly at one o’clock the members of the Alumnae and their friends marched from the Engineering Building to the Armory for the luncheon. Almost eight hundred persons were present at the dinner. The following menu was served: Iced Salmon. Turkey. Cold Pressed Beef. Chicken Salad. New Peas. Olives. Lady Cake. Chocolate Cake. Oranges. Ex-Governor Beaver, the toastmaster, announced that owing to the limited time only three addresses could be heard. They were given by the Rev. Dr. Colfelt, Mr. H. P. Wood, ’99, and Mr. F. H. Taylor, ’O3. Dr. Colfelt spoke of what a man is to do in this world and how he is to do it. The world wants men who can do their things. It wants men with a purpose, men who will do what they think is their duty even if they make an occasional mistake. The world wants men who are optimists, and men who are filled with pessi mism. All men should be hopeful at all times. Mr. Wood with several more members of his class gave their class yell. A very touching address was given by Mr. F. H.
