For the privilege of beholding this game everyone pays but fifteen cents, while he "forks out" fifty cents, unless he be the possessor of one of the white tickets given out at the business meeting on the payment of the in creased gymnasium fee every term, for the privilege(?) of see ing a team like Villa Nova or Susquehanna severely trounced by the Varsity. Since the proceeds of these class games will, in the future, be devoted to some worthy end, why should not the price of admission be raised to twenty-five cents ? Surely a lover of the sport would not cavil at paying a few cents more, when he can witness a good foot ball game (with a few good pugilistic encounters on the side) played with the vim and snap that characterizes all the class games at State. The writer trusts that 1906 and 1907 will remember this next December. A, word in regard to our financial standing. We owe, in round numbers, $250. There are subscriptions now due to the amount of $4OO. Some men owe for this year only; some have taken the LANCE for three or four issues and now return the copy sent them; they, of course, understand that they owe for the copies they have had, including the December issue. Some are in arrears three or four years. As you readily see we need the money, and need it very much, and need it at once. The business manager is making out his lists and will call on you soon.
