White, who has been Vice President and General Manager for the past five years of the New Omaha Thom son—Houston Electric Light Co., Omaha. Neb., has recently been elected President and g'eneral manager of that com pany. Mr. Nelson Lloyd, who has for several years been on the editorial staff of the New York Evening Sun, has published a book of character sketches called “The Chronic Loafer.” The collection is a tale of country life in the mountain re gions of Pennsylvania, and lias received favorable comment in a number of reviews and newspapers.
