While the game brought to light several weak spots, the playing of all the boys deserves great praise and the hearty support of the whole student body. In batting Hayes, Hewitt, Morgan, and Ruble carried off the honors, while Johnson and Ruble in the field took everything that came their way. First, sedond, and third were also well taken care of. Hewitt at short played a good game while the men in the box had plenty of speed, good control, and fielded their positions admirably.
