Miss Brew held a dance at the University Inn on the evening of March 9, • A punching bag and Moline platform have recently been added to the gymnasium apparatus of the Armory. It would be well if the students would take a little better care of the apparatus in the gymnasium as recently a number of pairs of dumb-bells and Indian clubs have been removed, and much of the other apparatus wantonly or accidentally destroyed. The class of '99 have decided not to hold an Easter dance this Year. A small portion of the Junior class took advantage of the offer of the College to give the classes sleigh rides and went to Centre Hall on the evening of Feb. 7. They attended a Musical Con vention there and all reported a pleasant evening. The Freshmen went to Bellefonte on Feb. 10, and the Sophomores went to the same place on Feb. 15. While playing basket ball on the evening of Feb. 20, Prof. J. H. Leete had his knee badly injured. G. B. Guy, 'oo, and B. L. Moore, 'ox, attended the State— Bucknell basket ball game at Lewisburg on March 4. Senator Washburn of the Crawford District delivered a lecture on " The Art of Living on a Farm " in the Engineering Building on Friday evening, Peb. 17. Ruble was unanimously elected captain of the basket ball team for next year. A. N. Diehl, '9B, W. H. Finley, 99, and D. L. Eynon, 'or, at tended a reception held by the Sigma Chi fraternity at Lewisburg on the evening of Feb. 24. The editors of the 1900 La Vie expect to get all manuscript into the hands of the printer by the middle of April.
