Both teams had been out of training since Thanksgiv ing and Haverford played with three or four subs, owing to the bad luck which she had this season with her regular players. The game WAS a very uninteresting one and was anticipated as such by those who knew it was to be played. • • This fact with the one that it was not advertised at all was ample reason for the smallness of the crowd that witnessed the game. As the date was not definitely fixed until Cie day previous it was impossible to advertise in any degree. As to the game we clip the following from the Philadelphia Press: • "Cartright, Aull, ray and Atherton made a number of good runs for State College today and llaverford was beaten on her o sit grounds by the score of 58 to 0, in 30 minute halves. State Callege mca now feel sure of the championship, whether the Dickinson game be awarded them or not, as they have won 3 games and lost but 1. So has Bucknell, but State College has a balance of 34 points over Bucknell and where two teams are tied the one having the more points in her favor wins. Bucknell, however, I believe, will enter some protest to counting to•day's game. Under the constitu. FOOTBALL Trout. Carter. lieugler. NfeCrea. Dixon. Gingrich
