The musical given it the chapel, March 14, under the supervision of Miss Willard was a grand success. All those who parti. cipated in it were her students. Much credit and gratitude is due Miss Willard for her untiring energy and ability in getting up such an entertainment. Although Miss Willard has only been connected with the college two terms, we can notice a great improvement in her department, more students are now taking music than for years past, and it can be plainly seen with what rapid strides her pupils are advancing. The programme was good throughout and many were the encores. The last piece (Kindersinfonie) which was taken part in by Misses Atherton's, Olds Bell and McKee, needs a special word of praise; the piece was long and very complex and.the manner in which it was rendered showed that they were thoroughly drilled. Every body was highly pleased and we hope to be favored again some time in the near future with a similiar performance. The following is the programme PROGRAMME. BELISARTO—(Two pianos) . . .
