Tonnage Tax—Another Meeting • Pursuant to adjournment on Thursday evening, the Se lect and Common C'onnclie of Pittsburgh, a Committee from the Pittsburgh Board of Trade, and numerous citizens nr.. ambled last evening at the Common Council chambers, for the purpose of holding a further conference with the Corn• raittee from the Philadelphia Board of Trade, relative to the repeal of the Tonnage Tax. At eight o'clock the meeting was called to order, sod the elncers of the former meeting took their places. Capt. Campbell stated that the floor was fn e to any one who might wish to make any remarks on the subject before the meeting. Mr. Joseph It. To my mind this tonnage tax is an imposition and should be repealed by the Legislature.
