We ask the attention of the candid to a few eon. , siderations. Nature, in every part of her works, has left indeli ble marks of adaptation and dosign. The constitution of the animals and vegetables of the threat, is such that they could not endure the cold of the frigid zone, and vice vena. In regard to diseases and im cure, the ada;iion is more or loss striking. The Moss or Iceland, the Wild Cherry and - Pines or all Northern latitudes (and "Dr. Iti'ISTZ.B..3 5201" is a compound chemical extract front these,) have long been celebrated fur complaints prevalent only in cold climates. Indeed the most:distinguished me.lical men have averred that nature furnishes in every country medicines lin its own peculiardiseases. ASTONISHING CURL•'! I.;ll:xrax's BAL.sam or witu Clizartir, alwuya trium piraot! cure follows cure in its onward victorious career! J. Ir. Illitutore.—Dear Sr:. As yoitare the riri ular authorized agent in Dayton, for the sale of "IL, Wistar's of Cheery," I take this, meth od of making a statement of facts to you (which I Lope may be published t.. the world) w rut . cieuee to an almost miratulous cure, wrought in my case by means of the above Inr.ilathle Language fails to describe the salutary effects it pro duced, and the groat benefit I derived from its use. The citizens of Dayton and vicinity, well recol lect that on the Bth of August last, I received seri ous injury icon, the explosion of a caution. A por tion oi' 11,-1 contents entered my right sale and breast; and in all prebabilitv, some fragments or splinters of thy rain-rod passed through the "pie t a," aad pierced the Lungs. After the lapse of about six weeks.. I seas attached with a di.itre.i.ing cough and a violent p.:i4 in My right side. Some ten days after this when in a par orirsiti r 2/ roughing, saidlenlv and erects broke, and a large quantity of very offensive matter, , enixed with blood, was discharged; most of which round passage through the opening of the wound. From this epciong there frequently passed' a quantity of air, supposed to issue from the lungs. During all this time my suffering.; were almost intolerable. My physiciansoneanwhile paid the strictest atten tion to me, and did all in their power for my recov ery. But with - all their skill they could sot reach the seat of di.stress, oiler the Lriags had become affect ed. I was visaed during this tune by at least twenty Physicians. It was now reduced to a ,certainty, that /11A/um/ion of the lungs was rapidly taking place; and that this would terni:nate my life in a very short Line, woo in the highest degree probable. At this critical stage, a messenger Iran despatched to Cincinnati, and a celebrated Physician of that place was consulted. When he was made acquaint ed with my situation, he remarked that nothing could tie done by medical aid, if the constitution itself was not sufficient to throw nlf the disease. frielhiS now despaired of iny recoi.ery, and 1' had no earthly ground of hope to S'urvive Mall:, days. Fortunately at this juncture, I saw one of lir. tar's Pamphlets, entitled "Family Medical Guide," or "Treatise on Consumption of the Lungs: , As I had often heard of dying men "catching at straws," I felt this doing so myself. By the consent of my Physicians, I sent to you Mr a bottle of the medicine described viz: " Wistar , s Balsam of Wild Cherry," which relieved me almost immediately. Atter 1 had used some five or six bottles / so far recovered as to be up and about. My cough ceased, and my lungs were restored to a healthy state—all from the heal- ing and balmy influence and powerful nzedicintil vir tues of Vistars Balsam. Were it not from the external injury I received in my shoulder and arm by the explosion, I feel confi dent that I might have been working at my trade (which iu blaeksmithing.) but this has prevented. By exposure, I have since taken several severe colds, and my only remedy has been "the balsam." And I now most cordially recommend the genuine Wistar's Balsam to all who are afflicted with Colds, Coughs, or Lung Complaints. I consider it an inval uable medicine—a mil blessing to the world.
