In the St Louis trade the usual packets are running. FIRE tiNtw YORK.—A very destructive fire broke out in New Yotk on Thursday evening, in 20th street, between 7th and Bth avenues, by which not less than fourteen houses have fallen a prey. The fire, it appears, broke out in a baker's shop, which shortly afterwards communicated with the adjoining buildings, which were principally of frame work, and burned with fear ful rapidity for upwards of an hour and a half. The aumberof families which have been turned out on this eccasion,will number about from fiftyYo sixty, and the damage cannot be much less than $2O 000.
