Boy Shot.—Notwithstanding the repeated warnings parents have had respecting the dan ger of leaving 'wind tire-arms within the reach of children, accidents from the cause continue to multiply around us A painful circumstance occurred on Saturday afternoon last in Spring field township, Bunke county, near Coopers burg. Mr. Jacob Funk, the father, was absent is Philadelphia, and the mother had gone out Jur a short time, leaving the children alone. Boring her absence, one of their sons, eight years old, picked up a loaded gun that was atandlng In the room, and while handling it the piece d is charged, and the contents entered the body of a younger son, aged six years, killing /dm Instantly. We hope that parents will not be long in discovering the fact that it is danger ous to have loaded fire-arms within reach of children.
