The weather yesterday was cold and raw, sot•
withstanding, a fair amount of business wan done
in a general way.

class steamers, but owing to the scarcity of freight

prices were ydlerably firm as last quoted. Sales of
200 bbls on'the wharf at 4,05,0 f 70 bbls at $4, and
of 50 bblsiat 3,50; this was a lot of ordinary fine,
and was evidently below the market price. Sales
of 200 bbls from store in dray load lots at 4,25
barrel.
